About Dr. DiMeo

Dr. DiMeo is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. He has 14 years of clinical psychological experience in a variety of outpatient, inpatient, residential, school, and campus settings. Currently at Salus, Dr. DiMeo is dedicated to working primarily with individual adults, couples, families, and adolescents. He provides treatment, clinical assessment, and consultation.

Dr. DiMeo tailors his therapeutic approach uniquely to each patient’s presenting concerns and goals in treatment. While developing a plan for success and identifying a course of action in therapy, patients are provided clear expectations of what treatment involves and what progress will actually look like. Dr. DiMeo works closely with his patients to safely discover their inner dynamics, identify potential areas of beneficial adaptive change, and further develop strengths and resilience. The essence of the therapeutic work occurs within a fine balance of supporting his patients while fostering accountability and self-confidence. This approach most often results in sustainable growth and positive internal change. Dr. DiMeo works with the premise that all of his patients ultimately achieve enhanced mental and emotional clarity.

In addition to seeing patients at Salus, Dr. DiMeo is a Clinical Psychologist II with Adult System of Care at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.  Dr. DiMeo is a member of the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association.
